Organizations for Grad Students:

APAGS (American Psychological Association Graduate Students) - Lots of info for grad students, including membership, research grants, a "getting started" section, and more.

Funding and Grants:

APAGS - has info about funding, research grants, dissertation awards, etc.

NIH (National Institute of Health) - has information on research grants, some of which may be applicable for grad students

NIH Grant and Fellowship Programs

The National Science Foundation - has information on how to apply for a research grant from them. The site includes information about current grants.

Internship-Related Sites & Info:

Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) - you can download internship forms from this site, get info on the new matching program and sign up for it, info on training, membership, etc.

National Matching Services - find out about the new internship matching program from the company that is doing it...

APA Accredited Doctoral Programs in Professional Psychology - listing of accredited programs, with links.

Classics in the History of Psychology - full text reprints of many of the classic and seminal articles in various psychological fields. Good reference!

Fedstats - Provides access to federal statistics generated by over 70 U.S. government agencies for public use. If you want a national statistic on anything, this is the place to look. A very valuable resource site for professionals and a good site to recommend to your students if you teach any courses involving statistics.

Guide to Selecting Statistics - figure out the types of stats you should use to analyze your data in a step-by-step interactive questionnaire.

History of Psychology - Dr. David Likely's informative page, with lots of links to the histories of various disciplines.

National Center for Health Statistics - easy access to recent stats on a large variety of behavioral health topics.
